Why I started KeyPass
Nobody plans to drive home impaired
I was born in Cornwall, Ontario, and raised right here in the Greater Toronto Area. I started KeyPass for one reason: to help keep our community safe.
Many people still think of drinking and driving as a bad night or a big ticket. It isn't. In Canada, impaired driving is a crime under the Criminal Code. It means being arrested, taken to the station, and standing in front of a judge. It means a criminal record that can show up on background checks for years. A second conviction carries mandatory jail time. And if someone is hurt or killed, it can mean years in prison, up to life.
I've watched people I love go through a DUI. I saw what it took from them. It wasn't only the money. It was the stress, the shame and the long months that followed. None of them set out to make a bad choice. After a few drinks, our emotions run higher and our judgment slips, and a decision that feels fine in the moment can change a life in seconds.
Very often, it comes down to the car. You need it for work in the morning. You don't want to leave it in a lot overnight, or come back for it the next day. That one thought puts a lot of good people behind the wheel when they shouldn't be there.
We understand that, and it's exactly why we're here. We come to you and drive you home in your own car, so you never have to choose between your car and your safety, your licence or someone else's life.
With KeyPass, you wake up with your car in your own driveway. No cab back to get it the next morning, no overnight parking tickets, and nobody in your group has to be the one who stays sober.
Please don't risk it. Our service is professional, affordable and reliable, and I'd be grateful for the chance to earn your trust.
